Essential map reading if you are visiting!

• National semiconductors their home page for data for ICs etc (they do the LM series )
• Maxims home page the home page for maxim ICs etc (they do the MAX series and second source some Analog devices and Burr Brown bits
• Arlon for microwave boards and bonding films
• Rogers for ptfe microwave boards
• Taconics . an alternative substrate supplier (cheaper?)
• Motorola power transistors, some linear chips.
• Analog DevicesMainly associated with good op amps and A to D annd D to A stuff
• Burr Brown very like Analog Devices, but with a slightly different slant
• RS Components the well known supplier of components, good catalogue and data if you register your address with them
• Farnell Components another supplier of useful bits
• Mega Electronics for PCB making machinary etc

RF & Ham radio links

• RSGB..The radio society of Great Britain (  They sell my Father's book-under 'EMC' in the book shop section)
• M and B radio A source of second hand equipment (sig gens, scopes etc)
• Muaritron manuals and equipment data
• Bull Electrical A source of second hand electrical and electronic stuff, mainly interesting for scrap
  also do slightly dodgy things like 'bugs' and lie detector kits, buyer beware!

• ARRL the American Radio Relay League
• IARU the international Amateur Radio Union
• spread spectrum magazine info, articles, good RF software selection (rather hard to navigate though)
• MLJ a company with an RF modelling intrest.
• mains signalling . ..Norweb/Nortel public information (rather frothy, little technical)
• GREAT CIRCLE DESIGN a reputable RF design company with strong views on what low power design really means...and how much a mains signalling system should radiate.
  Interesting to compare with the NORWEB/NORTEL PR .
